What brand of Visa credit card should you get?
Should you get a Visa credit card or a Mastercard credit card? Or should you get a Discover card, or American Express? Sometimes the brand/type of credit card you get an offer for isn't obvious because the bank or company that is giving you the credit card offer is marketing it as THEIR card, as in a Disney credit card or a Capital One credit card. But you should know that while the bank or company that is extending you the credit card offer is important, it's more important to decide if it's a Visa credit card or a Mastercard or American Express.
Why should I care what card it is?
Well, that depends on what kind of purchases you make. You want a credit card that you can use anywhere. For example, some companies who take credit cards won't take American Express. But most every company will take a Visa credit card. So why would you get a card from a company you like, such as Disney, if that card is backed by a credit card company that won't be accepted?
